Seeking: Mentor for At-Risk New Hampshire Boys

Mayhew is currently seeking to hire a new Community Outreach Worker to serve as a professional mentor to a caseload of 30-40 NH boys.

As a Mayhew Community Outreach Worker, you would primarily be responsible for developing a professional relationship with each boy in your caseload, ultimately serving as a resource and adult friend throughout the year.  In addition, you would be responsible for fulfilling a critical role during Mayhew’s summer residential program.

To qualify for consideration for this position, you must:

• Lead a healthy, active and positive lifestyle
• Have earned a Bachelor’s Degree (or be working towards one)
• Have a minimum of 1 year’s experience working with children
• Be 21 years of age and have a terrific driving record
• Have a willingness to relocate to live within the community you’re hired to serve
• Have a readiness to be a key member of Mayhew’s residential summer program
• Have an interest in committing to working for Mayhew for a minimum of 2 years.
• Be physically capable of participating in all of the activities we share with the boys
